PROCESS / IQ COATING

Define the part. Confirm the process.

Coating selection depends on the substrate, geometry, operating conditions and required finish. Send the application details before choosing a coating system.

01

Show us the part

Send photographs, dimensions, substrate information and the quantity.

02

Define the conditions

Identify operating temperature, contact materials, wear and the release requirement.

03

Confirm the coating scope

Review preparation, coating suitability and any required supporting documentation before work.

What do you need?

From bare part to finished surface.

Follow the sequence. Preparation, masking, application and controlled curing each have a different job to do.

Define exactly what gets coated. Original photograph of coated and bare platens.

Before we quote.

PTFE, PFA and the application

Fluoropolymer coatings are selected against substrate, temperature, contact media, wear and release needs. A trade name alone does not establish suitability or a particular coating grade.

Masked features and tolerances

Mark threads, journals, sealing lands, mounting faces and tight fits on a drawing or photograph. Agree the required finish and dimensional constraints before processing.

Curing and food-contact documentation

Cure temperatures and hold times come from the selected coating system. Food-contact use needs application-specific documentation; it is not implied by a non-stick finish.
